Northern Star Energy dan FIKP UMRAH akan lakukan Joint-Research Hidroakustik

Fakultas Ilmu Kelautan UMRAH dan Northern Star Energy (NSE) yang merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang oil and gas industry akan menjalin kerjasama dalam bidang Hidroakustik.

Pertemuan yang dipimpin oleh Dekan Fakultas Ilmu kelautan dan Perikanan UMRAH Dr. Agung Dhamar Syakti dan Director Petroleum Engineering (NSE) Manueal Choza Monteiro pada tanggal 2 Maret 2018 tersebut telah menyepakati bahwa UMRAH dan NSE akan melakukan joint-research yang nantinya akan dilaksanakan di Pulau Bintan.

FIKP dan NSE nantinya akan melakukan uji coba alat instrumentasi hydroakustik yang dikembangkan, dimana alat tersebut merupakan alat hydroakustik terbaru yang dapat melakukan deployment dengan jarak jelajah sampai 1500 meter di bawah laut.

NSE dan para peneliti hydroakustik UMRAH yang nantinya akan dipimpin oleh Dony Apdillah akan bekerjasama dengan NSE dimana FIKP UMRAH akan menggunakan LAUV.

Tim LAUV yang dipimpin oleh Yales Vevajaya akan berkolaborasi dengan Tim Research Engineering NSE untuk menguji kemampuan alat hydroakustik tersebut. Tujuan akhir dari kerjasama ini adalah salah satunya sebagai joint-research berkelanjutan dan publikasi bersama (Risandi Dwirama Putra)
