FIKP-UMRAH Sukses Gelar Pelatihan online “Pengolahan Data Perikanan menggunakan R”

Tanjungpinang (18/6), Fakultas Ilmu Kelautan dan Perikanan, Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji sukses dalam melaksanakan Pelatihan Dasar Online “Pengolahan Data Perikanan Menggunakan “R” Via Zoom meeting. Pelatihan ini merupakan inisiasi FIKP-UMRAH sebagai penyelenggara, bekerjasama dengan MSP-USU, WCS, ISPIKANI KEPRI, serta IMASPERA.

Kegiatan diawali oleh sambutan yang disampaikan oleh Plt. Dekan FIKP-UMRAH, Azwin Apriandi, S.Pi., M.Si, yang selanjutnya dilanjutkan dengan penyampaian materi. Dalam pelaksananya, pelatihan ini dipandu oleh Dr. Ani Suryanti (Prodi SEP FIKP-UMRAH), Amanatul Fadhilah, S.Pi.,M.Si (MSP USU) berperan sebagai moderator, serta Ardiantiono, S.Si. Pg. DIP. IWCP dari Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Indonesia yang merupakan Alumni University of Oxford sebagai Narasumber.

Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 112 peserta dari berbagai instansi seperti PPSPL, BRPL, BRPSDI, KEMENKO, KKP, penyuluh dan dari berbagai perguruan tinggi seperti UMRAH, IPB, UNTIRTA, UNDIP, UGM, UNIPA, UNHAS, UNAIR, UNIBRAW, UNSRI, UNJA, UNHALO, UNES, UNRI, UPI, UNA, UDAYANA, USU, UNMUL, UNSOED, UNCEN, UNU, UNLAM, STKIP PGRI, STIP Muh dan dari berbagai politeknik KP serta berbagai instansi lain.

Pelatihan Dasar Online “Pengolahan Data Perikanan Menggunakan “R” Pelatihan on line pertama kali yang dilakukan oleh FIKP UMRAH ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas kemampuan menganalisis data bagi mahasiswa, dosen dan peneliti. Bentuk nyata dari pelatihan ini berupa pendampingan secara online praktik analisis data menggunakan R, pemberian Tugas ataupun mini project yang mengaplikasikan pengolahan data menggunakan R.

Materi yang disampaikan terdiri dari lima hal. Pertama fokus pada pengenalan R, perbedaan R dengan aplikasi lain seperti SPSS, Minitab dll. Hal yang menarik dari R ini adalah tidak hanya dapat diaplikasikan untuk data-data perikanan namun dapat diaplikasikan untuk berbagai bidang ilmu, bahkan R juga dapat digunakan untuk membuat sebuah peta ataupun pemodelan.

FIKP-UMRAH dinilai sukses dalam melaksanakan pelatihan ini dilihat dari jumlah peserta yang terlibat. Para peserta yang berasal dari kalangan dosen, peneliti, dan mahasiswa dengan antusias menanyakan berbagai pertanyaan kepada narasumber dan mengharapkan pelatihan lanjutan segera dilaksanakan. Tentunya ini menjadi feedback respon yang baik, dan bukti nyata bahwa pelatihan yang digelar FIKP-UMRAH berjalan sukses dengan materi yang menarik.
