Tanjungpinang<\/strong> \u2013 Fakultas Ilmu Kelautan dan Perikanan (FIKP) Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji (UMRAH) menandatangani Perjanjian Kerja Sama (PKS) dengan Kelurahan Senggarang. Acara penandatanganan ini berlangsung di Ruang Rapat Fakultas Ilmu Kelautan dan Perikanan pada Kamis, 7 Agustus 2025.
Penandatanganan PKS ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari Memorandum of Understanding <\/em>(MoU) antara UMRAH dengan Witteveen+Bos South-East Asia Pte<\/em>. Dalam kolaborasi ini, FIKP juga mendapat dukungan dari Magnuson Trust<\/em>, sebuah organisasi yang berinvestasi dalam mata pencaharian berkelanjutan dan inisiatif iklim, untuk membawa lebih banyak program restorasi ekosistem dan pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan ke Desa Senggarang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kegiatan ini secara resmi ditandatangani oleh Dekan FIKP, Dr. Dony Apdilah, S.Pi., M.Si, dan perwakilan dari Kelurahan Senggarang, Edi Susanto, S.Sos. Acara ini juga dihadiri oleh sejumlah pejabat FIKP, di antaranya Wakil Dekan I Dr. Muzahar, S.Pi., M.Si; Kabag Umum Daniati Mayasari, S.IP; Ketua Jurusan Ilmu dan Teknologi Kelautan Dr. Arief Pratomo, ST., M.Si; Ketua Jurusan Teknologi Industri Perikanan Shavika Miranti, S.Pi., M.Si; Sekretaris Jurusan Manajemen Perikanan Tri Apriadi, S.Pi., M.Si; dan Dosen FIKP Henky Irawan, S.Pi., MP., M.Sc. Turut hadir pula Ketua Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) sekaligus Ketua Program Kampung Iklim (Proklim) Kelurahan Senggarang, Ibu Erni.
PKS ini sebagai wujud nyata keseriusan FIKP UMRAH dengan Kelurahan Senggarang berkolaborasi dalam inisiasi program pembangunan berkelanjutan, dengan fokus pada pembuatan struktur pelindung pantai berbahan biodegradable untuk memastikan tangkapan lumpur efektif bagi tumbuhnya habitat mangrove di muara Sungai Senggarang Besar. Struktur tersebut akan dibuat dengan memberdayakan masyarakat lokal sehingga dapat memberikan dampak ekonomi yang positif.
Kerja sama ini juga merupakan bentuk dukungan FIKP terhadap pemerintah Kota Tanjungpinang. Langkah ini sejalan dengan Dokumen Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Daerah (RPJMD) dan Kajian Lingkungan Hidup Strategis (KLHS) yang menetapkan mangrove di Kota Tanjungpinang sebagai kawasan wisata dan daerah perlindungan pantai.
Dekan FIKP menyampaikan bahwa agenda utama berikutnya adalah mendesain kegiatan dan melakukan restorasi, sekaligus memastikan program ini dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Ia berharap FIKP dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi lingkungan dan masyarakat di Kelurahan Senggarang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
