Kegiatan pelestarian lingkungan ini berlangsung pada Sabtu, 11 Oktober 2025, di kawasan pesisir Tanjung Sebauk, Kota Tanjungpinang.<br><br>Pada kegiatan tahap awal ini, mahasiswa berhasil menanam sebanyak 500 bibit mangrove di area pesisir yang mengalami abrasi. Penanaman ini menjadi langkah nyata mahasiswa IKL dalam mendukung upaya mitigasi perubahan iklim dan perlindungan ekosistem pesisir.<br>Selain penanaman, kegiatan ini juga direncanakan akan berlanjut dengan monitoring pertumbuhan mangrove secara berkala sebagai bentuk komitmen terhadap keberlanjutan kegiatan konservasi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-image uagb-block-2743d53c wp-block-uagb-image--layout-default wp-block-uagb-image--effect-static wp-block-uagb-image--align-none\"><figure class=\"wp-block-uagb-image__figure\"><img decoding=\"async\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fikp.umrah.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/abdimas-mahasiswa-2-768x1024.jpg ,https:\/\/fikp.umrah.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/abdimas-mahasiswa-2.jpg 780w, https:\/\/fikp.umrah.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/abdimas-mahasiswa-2.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 150px\" src=\"https:\/\/fikp.umrah.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/abdimas-mahasiswa-2-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"uag-image-729\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" title=\"abdimas mahasiswa 2\" loading=\"lazy\" role=\"img\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aksi lingkungan ini turut melibatkan dosen pendamping Program Studi Ilmu Kelautan, yaitu Jelita Rahma Hidayati, S.Kel., M.Si., selaku koordinator kegiatan. Selain itu, kegiatan juga mendapat dukungan dari komunitas lokal, di antaranya Ibu Erni, Ketua Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) sekaligus Ketua Program Kampung Iklim (Proklim) Kelurahan Senggarang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-image uagb-block-f449bd95 wp-block-uagb-image--layout-default wp-block-uagb-image--effect-static wp-block-uagb-image--align-none\"><figure class=\"wp-block-uagb-image__figure\"><img decoding=\"async\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fikp.umrah.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/foto-abdimas-bpk-1024x577.jpg ,https:\/\/fikp.umrah.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/foto-abdimas-bpk.jpg 780w, https:\/\/fikp.umrah.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/foto-abdimas-bpk.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 150px\" src=\"https:\/\/fikp.umrah.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/foto-abdimas-bpk-1024x577.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"uag-image-730\" width=\"1600\" height=\"902\" title=\"foto abdimas bpk\" loading=\"lazy\" role=\"img\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Menurut Ibu Jelita Rahma Hidayati, kegiatan ini bukan hanya bentuk pengabdian mahasiswa kepada masyarakat, tetapi juga wadah pembelajaran langsung di lapangan. \u201cMelalui kegiatan seperti ini, mahasiswa tidak hanya belajar konsep ekologi pesisir di kelas, tetapi juga mengamalkannya dalam tindakan nyata. Kolaborasi dengan masyarakat lokal menjadi kunci keberhasilan pelestarian lingkungan,\u201d <em>ujarnya<\/em>.<br>Sementara itu, Ibu Erni menyambut baik kegiatan ini dan berharap penanaman mangrove dapat terus berlanjut. \u201cKami sangat senang dilibatkan. Mangrove ini sangat penting bagi warga Tanjung Sebauk karena melindungi pesisir dari abrasi dan menjadi tempat hidup biota laut,\u201d <em>tuturnya<\/em>.<br><br>Sinergi antara akademisi, mahasiswa, dan komunitas lokal dalam kegiatan ini menjadi contoh nyata kolaborasi yang mendukung pelestarian ekosistem pesisir dan pemberdayaan masyarakat.
