FIKP UMRAH dan FPIK UNSOED Teken Perjanjian Kerja Sama

Purwokerto – Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji (UMRAH) melalui Fakultas Ilmu Kelautan dan Perikanan (FIKP) dan Universitas Jendral Soedirman (Unsoed) melalui Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan (FPIK) sepakat untuk melakukan kerjasama bidang Pendidikan, Studi Pedesaan masyarakat pesisir dan Energi baru terbarukan. Penandatanganan Perjanjian kerjasama dilakukan di ruang Rapat Rektor Unsoed, Rabu(20/2/2019)

Perjanjian kerjasama ini ditandatangani oleh Dekan FPIK UNSOED Dr. Ir. Isdy Sulistyo, DEA dengan Dekan FIKP UMRAH Dr. Agung Dhamar Syakti yang disaksikan langsung oleh Rektor UNSOED Prof.Dr.Ir. Suwarto, MS., dan Rektor UMRAH Prof. Dr. Syafsir Akhlus M.Sc.

Rektor UMRAH sangat menyambut baik kolaborasi yang disepakati melalui Perjanjian Kerjasama ini.

“Diharapkan adanya penelitian dan publikasi bersama dibidang perikanan dan kelautan, saling mengisi artikel antara jurnal kedua universitas dibidang perikanan dan kelautan, serta adanya kajian bersama untuk pemetaan potensi desa-desa nelayan” ujar Prof. Akhlus mengenai harapannya terhadap perjanjian Kerjasama ini.

Dalam kesempatan yang sama, Rektor Unsoed sendiri berharap melalui sinergi ini, diharapkan kedua institusi ini akan saling menguatkan dan mendukung, khususnya dalam rangka berkontribusi menghasilkan luaran tridharma perguruan tinggi.

“Terlebih sebagai negara maritim, sumberdaya perikanan dan kelautan kita sangat luar biasa, di mana memiliki nilai keekonomian yang potensial untuk meningkatkan kualitas kehidupan, khususnya kesejahteraan masyarakat.” ujar Prof. Suwarto

Kemudian lanjutnya lagi, Melalui pertukaran akademisi, penguatan pembelajaran, riset-riset kolaboratif dan pengabdian masyarakat yang holistik, maka pengembangan potensi perikanan dan kelautan yang ada dapat direalisasikan secara optimal.

MoA atau Perjanjian Kerjasama antar PTN ini juga meliputi tukar menukar kepakaran, mahasiswa, riset, penyediaan bantuan tenaga ahli, pengembangan sumber daya manusia serta bidang lainnya yang relevan dengan upaya pengembangan kapasitas kelembagaan pembangunan dan kemasyarakatan.

Perjanjian Kerjasama ini berlaku untuk jangka waktu tiga tahun, terhitung sejak tanggal ditandatangani dan dapat diperpanjang berdasarkan kesepakatan para pihak. (Adi Pranadipa)
